David and Janene Waldrop and their youngest daughter Jullianne have been developing a growing burden for the African Continent since their trip to Botswana in 2005. Both David and Janene have had a calling on their lives for mission work since their youth. Jullianne was prophetically spoken over to have a heart for foreign missions and has enthusiastically embraced this Word for her life. God has so graciously and mercifully given them this opportunity to meet His calling and they have set their faces towards Him and their lives towards the task set before them.

David is a graduate of Carson Newman College and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Having pastored several churches, he realizes that God’s real call is into foreign missions. He retired from the United States Army Reserve as a Lieutenant Colonel. His military experience and past 10 years as a Nursing Home Administrator has prepared him well to train other leaders as the Holy Spirit gives him favor and wisdom.

Janene is a graduate of Carson Newman College and has done coursework at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. She will utilize this preparation as well as her 12 years of homeschooling all her children to provide guidance and training for Kenyan educators serving the slums of Nairobi. She also will work with mothers, helping them to grow in their parenting skills.
Jullianne has an immense love for children and, as revealed on her last trip to Botswana, truly enjoys showing them the Love of God through caring and serving. Kenya will be a launching ground for her dream of attending a Youth With A Mission (YWAM) Training School after completion of High School.

The Waldrop’s realize the great need for prayer support and dependence on the Holy Spirit as they serve. They have learned as never before, how vital it is that like-minded believer's pray together for God's guidance in their lives. Please pray for David, Janene and Jullianne as they serve the people of Kenya.
